Sometimes I wonder why people create art. Why do they draw these imaginary characters and fantastical worlds for us to admire. Is it to inspire within us feelings we can't experience in our day to day life? To entertain us? To communicate a great message? Or just for the sake of beauty?
For this manhwa it seems like the author intended to do none of these things. The art is mediocre, honestly horrible at times. The plot is nonsensical and is neither entertaining or compelling. The main character is Mary Sue while being overwhelmingly stupid. All the characters suck. The dialogue is some of the worst I've ever read. So why did they make this at all? Just why?
Anyways, this was so bad I had an existential crisis whilst reading it. Not even worth reading to waste your time on.

I actually cannot fathom how someone could think of a plot like this and think other people would enjoy it. Or how the editors approved of this, how multiple people worked on this, colouring the penises, thinking of the names for the characters, and thought it was acceptable to release into society. Is this what they mean by art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable? Like did this happen to the author and they're trauma dumping somehow? This is sus af but I have a few theories...
First of all, the synopsis and title. The title has ties to the underworld because of Sisyphus and the synopsis says 'he leads Jinwoo to a village where death holds no meaning...' the entire premise is based on the undead and immortality as well. Maybe guwon is actually immortal or an undead himself? The hound part and how guwon refers to jinwoo as a dog in the latest chap would be how he perceives others, that they are all his hounds or his pets. That could explain how he is so touchy feely with other people and treats them as his pets.
The town is also sus. They seem cult like. The girl and the old man said they finished eating as soon as guwon came to talk to jinwoo but they were clearly lying. They seemed used to his behaviour of chatting up the newcomer. Maybe this happens often? Guwon will rescue an outsider, seduce them and then do something to them? Idk. Also its so suspicious that no one locks their doors at ALL. Anyone can access anyone's homes at all times which is so weird.
Guwon himself may seem ignorant of what his actions do but to me it all seems like a farce. Like pretending to cry or taking his rings off so that jinwoo would feel guilty. Or pretending to be dumber then he actually is so that jinwoo would have to talk to him everyday and come to his house everyday.

The last few chapters were literally him trying to run away and terminate his pregnancy. There could not be a worse way to end a romance plot than this. He's a coward and the ML is a rapist. What wasted potential, the art was really beautiful.
