I find it beautiful that they get to meet again in their next lives, if Haku don't "disappear" he will have to live forever without Izuki but now they can meet again
it's kinda crazy that you all think they died... they DID NOT DIE! the cold water scene is to have him remember everything hince the "welcome back" thingy! he fell in, he remembered, they kissed, got out and lived happily ever after! in no way they would die there lol it's just obvious, not even an open ending
the only couple that made me keep reading are the tattoo guy and tatsumi, the whole manga is all about rape×rape = love, I'm glad it's finally finished because I would have been thinking about it every couple of years and in a bad way! now it's all over and in the past.
