I'm guessing it's because author may have drawn more handsome men if ever it wasn't a xerox copy lol. We were already complaining about the ex trash face because it was drawn handsomely as well as the guard T^T with less screen time.
To be fair the guard guy has sum distinctive features like his monolid eyes, but he still looks VERY similar to every other relevant male character
