Alright I binge read this all today (fucked my sleep schedule too) I have to say I hope they pull back on this new yandere Theo, it's honestly unsettling and it feels like he has a whole new personality now.
Anyways considering this is a slow webtoon I will leave it to ferment for a while maybe before I get back to it. Hopefully the everything with parashawty and everyone else will get better

Novel reader here, im pretty disappointed with the changes they made to the manhwa comapred to the novel. They dumbed it down this chapter too much, removed most of the Dialogue including the "when I'm with him I'm a goddess" line (that I loved) which caused a loss of depth and they removed the beating up ruby scene which decreases the shock value, and izek being able to stab Cesare that easily (unlike the novel) makes him seem like a weak villain. Even ruby's comebacks to Cesare were bolder and harsher in the novel compared to this where she feels polite lmao. I wish they had stuck with the novel since it was very intense and cathartic, the manhwa version is underwhelming after all that build up. I definitely recommend for everyone to read this chapter in the novel, I find it's a lot better

100% agree. Im so sad they didn't include the goddess line. In the novel, she was WAY harsher, calmly delivering lines which were like massive blows that drove him insane.
I'm beyond disappointed we don't get to see ruby being brutally assaulted, izek &co opening the door, and then freezing in shock at the sight....
Also, izek's dive powers clash with that bastard's divine shield? Like hello? Where is this stabbing scene from???

im hoping we get to see through Ruby's POV next chapter since this one is more on Ceasar, and at least have the goddess line as her inner thought or something :( also agreeing w the scene of her being smashed to the mirrors lacking, the build up of the tension in the novel was really really good but we just cut straight to ruby on the ground in the manhwa and izek fighting :/
I'm gonna reread this for nostalgia's sake ( I think I saw this for the first time when I was 12, I'm 21 now
Okay holy shit I don't think 12 year old me realized how fucked up this was
Wtf were you reading at 12 bro
All sorts of unspeakable things
