This is like my 4th read or something and I still notice and understand things I didn't notice/understand before, like how emma fiddles with her fingers and looks down whenever she talks about her past or family, how many times aleksander holds himself back when hes so whipped for emma and how hes always looking at her and being thoughtful of her all the time
I'm not gonna lie while I love reading this criminally underrated masterpiece it also makes me sad as hell because I'm most likely never going to have such a relationship with someone and I really crave this level of connection and intimacy without the sexual aspect, it seems so impossible and unreal
