As for their relationship, it shows different struggles in marriage and them trying to work it out. I dont really think its toxic, its just bad lol. I think their love should be given a chance because they are putting effort into it and they were just unfortunate that all of those events had to happen to them at once in a young age and yeah they acknowledge their mistakes and doing what they can to make up for it
