He was violent in his previous school too, arrogant and etc. he made amend in his new school, being a cripple, taking a beating every single day just to repress the ‘monster’ inside him. Which is his violent tendencies. Now, he is just back, as the very being against his own ideal in the book he looked up so much. He is losing it. I hope the character bounced back, and have some char. Development, else we will just see him turned to be the antagonist. I agree with sone comment that he did not resolve his previous mental problem, and now it taunts him back. That boi need a shrink, not a paper bag on his head and going on rampant.
I understand that he had it rough, but what good is it for his soul to be the anti thesis of the hero he described to Sera?
Other than the appearance of the demon king out of that tree of life, that tree itself looks like anti-climax. Instead of something grand and majestic poofff it appeared small and cute
