So I decided to read the novel, and from what I remember, in their past lives, the one where the MC dies, there is a rebellion. The red head woman does manage to become empress. But she’s a terrible empress and almost ruins the kingdom. The rebellion basically do manage to get rid of her. But o think they want to overthrow the emperor as well, bc of how shitty he is and the fact that he killed the previous empress and married a terrible woman. I’m not sure if they do succeed though.
