I think her fear has clouded her judgement and IQ for too long, which is why we readers, who have never felt like we're under the threat of dying every single day, feel like she's too dumb and not the least bit sensible.
Going through what she's gone, I'd probably have died long ago because of my quick temper. So for her to have lasted this long, you can tell her self-preservation instinct is quite strong

yeah he's a real mc-fuck-face with extra french-cries. He gets an inch closer, Taiyo reciprocates, then he pulls back two inches. For me, he was irredeemable since he started. And to know Taiyo's history, makes it just that much worse, because he was never a bad person, just misunderstood. And Sora's misconception of him just by appearances made him think it was okay to have his friends rape him. And he thinks he can just control his life and possess him because he caught some feelings. Yeah right, he doesn't deserve to breathe the same air as Taiyo let alone tell him what to do.

First of all no. and second of all no. and yeah sure for you but what about other people? What if there r other people out there who likes sora as well? I can understand that, and also what if sora also had a sad childhood but that part of the story isn't out yet? So who knows what happened for him to end up like that. and think about it if you were in sora's place wouldn't u have misconcepted Taiyo as well? And no they weren't friends never from the beginning, I know the first part of the story is twisted and fucked up and all but don't you see the character change/ development? Sora was guilty cuz he was just standing there and couldn't do anything for Taiyo even if he want to. cuz its already done, he could never change the past, cuz what's done is done. He also never once controlled or possessed his life because Taiyo is Taiyo and he controls his own life he became like this because its what he wants. And yes he did catch feelings for him from the middle but He never controlled his life. And yeah maybe your right, maybe your not. And have never once stopped and think about how much an author's effort is put into this? Maybe the author thought alot about these characters and put in they're all into trying to make this story to look good. Sometimes I feel bad for the authors who put in alot of thoughts into their characters, but end up the viewers just to make them look

Sis u have no idea how much respect I have towards the author to be able to bring out such real emotions from so many ppl but that does not mean that I can’t hate on a character whatsoever the author created the character and out him out there for judgement so I am going to judge him and no amount of sad backstory or whatever the fuck Sora has gone through can redeem the ABUSE and TRAUAMA he made Taiyo go through like u used to get bullied as a kid boo hoo cry me a river join the me club sis but u don’t see us going around RAPING delinquents and then getting other ppl to rape them for the fun of it and Sis what character development r u talking about? Oh u mean about how the concept of love confuses Taiyo and now he’s just a sex maniac going through actually addiction withdrawal without sex and how he’s a shell of the person who he used to be?
