I’m glad I read this, it’s not your typical “oh I fell in love with my rapist” it’s much more complex and it’s a psychological manga and it’s well written. I also don’t think the writer wrote these characters so they could be liked, more as you can hate them but at the same time feel bad for them? Or at least that’s how I felt. Also this is the type of story where u got to deep dive and truly understand the complexity of it.

Y’all need to cut him some slack he’s a freaking teenager plus he just got separated from his mom by bunch of thugs y’all expect him to be timid and submissive? Y’all forgetting he’s basically still a child.

Yeah I don’t think people get that he’s not supposed to be that likeable at this stage in the story, in fact it emphasises how kind the mc is to deal w his shit so that when the ml grows older he becomes grateful. While it’s annoying it’s understandable, it’s reminding you that he’s just a child who wants his mother back

You’re forgetting the sole purpose the mc helped him was because he’s “pretty” and reminded him of his sister if it was any other child in the same situation who wouldn’t have. Also his mother was taken by the same group the mc is working under the ml has every right to be suspicious. His bratty attitude it’s just him being a teenager if you want him to be submissive and be puppy like wait til he’s actually an adult
Of course the twin is evil and ofc he ruined their relationship now that bish is dead
