dunno about you all but i for once appreciate a bl where the plot overshadows the romance. king's maker has always been a plot-heavy story and it's obvious the story was gonna get more complicated once the wolfgang became king. i'm glad the authors kept the focus on the story instead of the romance because many stories tend to deviate from the plot and into romance/smut once the second or third season starts. there's not a lot of stories like this in the bl genre which is why i appreciate it a lot.
this webtoon is one of the best in this genre. first, the ml and mc are such good people and parents. they are also very likable and interesting characters. plus, they are not abusive or neglectful to their child at all. second, none of them are stupid (aisha is learning really fast and well. she might seem airheaded at first but she's actually really smart!). third, they communicate their issues and compromise when they can't agree on things. fourth, the plot is not like your typical shallow isekai story and it's obvious the author put effort into making it seem like some cute, funny story when it's actually quite complicated. this is probably my second favorite isekai webtoon.

i would reccomend beware of the villainess and the princess imprints a traitor. I highly reccomend the princess imprints a traitor, it's not an isekai but it's very very well written and consists of the MC going back in time
