Honestly? I don't think either Guwon or the town have chance for redemption. Even if the theory of Guwon being used by the town or the town being cowards answering to tyranic conduct happen to be true. All are far beyond hope. The system is deeply corrupted for them to incur into executing ppl to feed the very foundation of that tyranic and totalitarian structure. Yes Guwon might be a supernatural creature with no sense of right or wrong, but he does perceive himself as someone with agency, he is capable of making decisions even if it's under a twisted moral so we cannot say he's just an automathon with no power or will whatsoever. Yes the town also exerts power by following an eye for eye system. Everybody's to blame regardless individual particularity or background. Teach should just lay low for now and see how he can just escape from that place before he becomes a murder by association or ends up dead. He should take the kids too and figure a way to survive. Idk how but I'm hopeful. Just my two cents.
