I actually tried to read this a few years back, but it didn’t catch me (it felt too forced and a bit cringey), so I walked away after a few chapters. I do love the other stories from this author though and "Our sunny days" is what ultimately brought me back and before I give it another go, I want to ask all of you: Does is get better after a few chapters? Is it worth powering through the first discomfort? (⊙…⊙ )

yes !! i also picked this up a few years ago and wasn't hooked right away. i decided to give it a chance 4 hours ago and i just finished it.
it grows on you! their relationship is healthy and gain's really an eye candy while reading. it's good! the ending is satisfactory too, give it another try ヾ(☆╹◡╹)ノ~

4/5 Stars — I really really love how the author is able to convey emotions, feelings and intimacy! It’s nice to see how Masato‘s and Asahi‘s relationship develops and how they’re able to heal their wounds and grow together; I‘m also glad that Kou got his happiness — The only character I can’t figure out is Naru xD be he sure is interesting as well haha (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

4/5 Stars — Ha~~ I really love coming back here every now and then to dive into their story! The reason why I‘m coming back is not because the trope is „new“ or „refreshing“ (quite the opposite actually), but even though the trope is well known, I really adore their dynamics and how the author is able to really convey emotions and feelings of loneliness, sadness, despair and love! Also I love how Ayumu and Ryou quarrel with each other all the time haha(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
I‘m so sad that it has only 8 chapters, I‘d love to read more about them!!!
1/5 Stars — The premise is initially cute, but their difference in body and mind, as well as the Senpai always urging him to do the deed ruined it for me; The artstyle and behavior gives off major pedo vibes, and the Senpai always coming on to him left me feeling extremely uncomfortable; dropped it at Ch. 4/5.
