1/5 Stars — Honest Review
Nah seriously, even one star is too high for this one. I felt so choked -while-, and frustrated -after- reading this shell of a story. Nevermind the usual tropes (sad past, paying of father’s debts, angst, lots of unmotivated, emotionless smut, pregnancy, yada yada) the whole plot and the dynamics between all of the involved characters utterly lacks any motivation, depth, emotion and logic. The „couple“ (sorry, already forgot their names) never develop any kind of positive relationship, or any relationship at all. It‘s just one typical dramatic situation after another and lots of red flags.
I still don’t get how banging the son of the men who selled out your familiy‘s hide-out is any kind of revenge, even less so, if you simply _know_ that aforementioned son was barely a kid at that time, was attached to you as a „Hyung“ and clearly has no clue what his father did. Quite the opposite: You know that this same son is struggling paying of his father’s debts, just to keep his grandfathers cemetery plot (I didn’t quite understand that explanation though).
Nothing much happens, apart from lots of smut and „mysterious“ business talk between the top and his subordinate, although everyone and their mother knows exactly what they are doing and how they are trying to achieve their revenge.
On that note: The smut was unbearable, since it _always_ felt forced (which it was, no matter how much the top’s saying „i’m not forcing you to do it with me“, but at the same time he‘s cornering him so much and leaves him with no choice BUT to, quote, spread his legs) and (to the end) lacked any kind of intimacy or emotions, I skipped all of it.
The dream scene with the grandfather and the unborn child was just cruel and the author clearly placed it as a tear jerker for us readers — Honestly, it was the only moment I emphasized with the ML for a second, cause it’s just too damn sad and any human with an ounce of emotion would feel sorry after reading that.
But the worst part of this hell of a story is, that the ML actually developed feelings for the top (although I think it was just stockholms) and actually went back to this mofo of an asshole.
I seriously hated the ending the most. If it ended with them just going their separate ways, I would’ve liked it way better.
Anyway, not recommending reading this, except if you want to feel extremely frustrated.

you forgot to write about the poor art (3d models), it´s just no artwork. I understand, the artist just needs to earn, though
True, the art was poor; even though I could overlook poor or odd artstyle if the story was good and interesting, but this was just #－.－) mehh

5/5 Stars — I‘m binge-reading all works of this author and this one is my favorite (by now)! I know, I know, it‘s the cliched friends to lovers trope, but it’s just soo nicely done and I just adore them both so much (and hope Mr. Kaneko gets one Story as well?!)! This one’s going on my all faves list! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

3/5 Stars — I’m not crying, you are （/TДT)/ The parenting-trope is not really my cup of tea, but I enjoyed their characters und the little story nevertheless
4.5/5 Stars — I enjoyed this waaaay more than I initially thought. The main couples dynamic (after the first chapters) is so interesting, intriguing and healthy! I love how Ja-wook is not this whiny, weak and incompetent excuse of a bottom, but strong, with his own beliefs and ethics in life. The dialogue is not boring, the plot just sucks you right in and flows without a hinch. The smut is a driving „force“ for the plot, but it’s not overly graphic, bloody or front and center m, quite the opposite! The smut feels really intimate and sensual, even with the SM and D/S plays. Also the artstyle is unique-ish, and chosen colorpalette creates this whole intimate atmosphere and vibe.
The 2nd couple didn’t entice me as much, they had potential, but their dynamic was too shallow, or shall I say felt too „mysterious“, hence I couldn’t connect with them as much, although the last chapters and side story was alright and I‘m happy for them.
This is definitely going on my faves-list and I know I‘ll re-read it often (づ￣ ³￣)づ
3.5/5 Stars — A simple, yet cute short story. It feels just a little bit rushed and it’s just a tiny bit clichéd, but I liked it nonetheless and am definitely recommending the read ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
4.5/5 Stars — They are so adorable and cute! What I love is, that the plot and their relationship grow gradually, but are _not_ boring, repetitive or frustrating. All the characters are well developed, have their own motivations, in-depth and are diverse, personality-wise and appearance-wise as well. It’s also so refreshing, that the smut is intimate, yet not in every second panel and not overly focused on. They are (maybe at some times a tad too much) dorky, humorous, yet always succeed in positively communicating with each other, which I absolutely LOVE! Communication is key after all and they are awesome ! I wish for more stories like this one, do absolutely recommend it and will definitely re-read it many times in the future!

Agreed, although one difference: with Jinx you at least feel sorry for Doc Dan and with the author you know that there will be a redemption arch.
Right? It started out interesting, but ended up like a total disappointment

I liked Luca, Mitsuya-san and Eiji, but Gino‘s character just pushed the wrong buttons somehow
5/5 Stars — Omg how is this so good? And how are they so authentic, emotionally approachable and cute? I just want to give them a huge hug and I want them to be happy ;0;!! This is definitely going to be one of my faves, I just know it!
