It‘s a non-con PWP. If you like non-con, forced and r*pe smut without Plot, this short is for you, otherwise you should look for something else. The only thing that‘s good is the art, I hated everything else about it #－.－)

I knew it was coming ages ago and struggled with myself, but I still read to the end ╥﹏╥
I‘m „glad“ that he at least wasn’t as gruesomely violent (at least no blood…) to our poor little Jailbait as the spoilers made him sound, but I am still so FREAKING MAD at this development! I mean, I knew Mr. Perm was a gangster and somewhat mad (from the other Story I read, where he‘s the brother (maybe cop?) of a Prosecutor and has a very short appearance at the end), but he was so lovely, funny and hot in 2020 — GREEN FLAGS ALL AROUND HIM. I really loved their whole consensual and sweet dynamics — and than BOOM The author follows the typical Yaoi trope and ruins everything in three chapters. This has me some DCS vibes all over again, for real #－.－)

I guess there will be a time skip, and I guess they will work through it (?) but this unnecessary non-con, mental violence and r*ape is just extremely unnecessary AND takes away from the actual heaviness of the topics! NO means NO, damn it. Why can’t you just WALK AWAY without having to „hurt him“. Ugh. *flips table yet again*

See you at Season 2, I guess? ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

The art is 5/5, very beautiful and sensual
The story on the other hand is one tragic moment after another, has one too many dramatic „plot twists“ and ends the same way it started: bad! The fathers character and decisions, which ultimately are the only reason for all the events, are the weakest point in the story. He is possessive-obsessive with Anton and even desires him in a sexual way, yet it‘s not clear as to WHY he chooses this way of acting it out. All his actions are confusing and inconsistent, I think the author him/herself didn’t know what to do with this character and ultimately it destroyed everything, since the main pillar of the plot and events was too weak for everything to hold up.

I simply can’t believe that I was hoping for a somewhat happy ending, seeing how the whole story got worse and worse by each chapter. The ending left me disappointed, empty and with a bitter taste in my mouth and I wholeheartedly regret reading it. （￣へ￣）

Honest summary: Two lonely children chance encounter over a stray cat and one of them is so love deprived and neglected, that he literally wants to be the cat, so he can get all of the others love and affection from the other (who btw. happens to be rich) — Cut to two adults with Stockholm Syndrome and fear of abandonment ft. loooooots of craziness and smut.

OMG I loved this so much, I binged it in one night like my life depended on it. I love the characters and their development (!) I love the plot, the communication, the heart ache, the art, the smut, the intensity of the real life struggle and pain portrayed… Seriously, it‘s such a good and wholesome read! Even when the characters did something that I don’t like at ALL (kind of non-con) the way they talk about it later and resolve their issues — Uff, love it!
And holy Avocado, I never knew that wavy hair, brooding eyes and a Muzzle are my kink, but here we are! ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ I could go on and on,… just read it for yourself! It‘s definitely going on my Top All Tome Fave List!

The storytelling ist just so boring and onesided. They‘re almost always at the Lab, so there‘s no change in scenery and they’re either dragging out lengthy dialogues or getting down at each other without any build up at all, I might add.
If a story is interesting, I binge it in one go, no distractions. With this one, I was struggling to even read the dialogue xD and skipped through a lot of them, ultimately even jumped to ch. 60; AND EVEN THE END feels sooooo disappointing and leaves a bitter taste.
It sure has a lot of potential, but the realisation is terribly done (〜￣△￣)〜

This story is all over the place xD! I had worse reads, but one thing that really bugged me is, why is the MC acting like a Teenie, he‘s supposed to be in his 40s. Also, there‘s little to no communication and a lot of cliche tropes, including r*pe, which I absolutely hate.

It‘s an okay story (〜￣△￣)〜
Things started out really good and promising, but than it fulfilled all the cliche tropes and sadly really ruined it.
Starting with the whole misunderstanding/miscommunication thing (which dragged out too long and was really really annoying), than them having their first sex, although they both think that the other is in an relationship and in love with someone else (really ruined the mood for me, I basically skipped that smut scene), and finishing off with the straight best friend, who secretly - surprise - is in kind of obsessivly in love with the MC and wants to destroy his current relationship and the MC all for himself. Seonho is way too forgiving and depicted as kind of "stupid" (if you know what I mean), also they seem to „resolve“ every issue by simply going down on each other ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ and Myun-whats-his-name tsundere and stand-offish act get’s old really fast. Also him running off to his „best friend“ and afterwards even staying friend with him xD Wtf?
I was looking forward to this, since the premise was so good and the art is really good, but all of the above mentioned things totally ruined the story for me.
