I think some ppl here forgot that the bot (srry, I'm bad at remembering names) has some psychological issues, particularly in recognizing emotions. It's not just some "can't get a clue" moments, but it's a really serious issue. Like what we've seen in the last chapters that he doesn't seem to feel or recognize what the top was trying to say. He doesn't even think at first that what he has done is bad. And he can't even ponder his emotions well.
However, this is not an excuse rlly since the top got hurt plus the abuse he's facing with his family. The top really needs a healing time and a proper apology. He deserves the best rlly. Really need a chasing arc. Come on, bot, get ur man back.
That's why I'm hoping that the author does not just let the story end with just them being together again and living like some Cinderella sht. I want the author to explore the complexity of human emotions. I want the author to address the bot's emotional and thought processes because he really needs therapy. I want to see the progress of the bot when it comes to dealing with and recognizing people's actions. Y'know the bl manhwa Rivalry/Opposite Attracts? The top there was also having a hard time recognizing feelings, and I really like how the story gradually shows what is the reality of those with kind of symptoms. They really showed the complexity of it and gave a perfect flow on how they deal with it.
I also want to see the top resolving his issue with his fucked up fam. Him getting away from his aunt and grandfather's reach. When the old guy gonna die, anyway? And, of course, I want to see the bot and top be proud, happy, and gay as fck. Want to see them grow together and fck each other 24/7 w/o protection, in diff positions, with fountain scenes, begging for more, and live happily and as gay as possible ever.

I think u misunderstood me in the part that he needs therapy..... I didn't mean it in a bad way like those black flags ml. I mean it in a way to help him understand more his emotion and thought process. Getting therapy is not a bad thing because this could teach people to "adapt" to their surroundings to create a more secure environment and develop a sense of belonging.

Kyle will find out Tae's identity and daddeh ilay will come to the rescue with some big and flashy destruction. basically, he burned the forest, so tae could have not a choice to run, and choose to come to him instead, and maybe regret his decision about leaving him. And then a non-consensual seggz scene in front of the mirror. Ilay's reminding Tae that tae is his possession. Marking him to the top 'til the bottom. Sheesh. After that, they find some leads with the help of Kyle to know the whereabouts of Jaeui. Tae still wants to continue finding his brother, but Ilay does not let Tae be out of his sight again, so he and Tae (unwillingly) fly out to Hong Kong because Ilay still has some work to do. Fast forward, Ilay got some 5 weeks' leave at work, so he gave Tae's a chance to find his brother. This is where Shinru will come into the picture again. Shinru knows Tae will find his brother at Seringue Island (idk if my spelling is right) so he decides to follow him with the help of the stalker that Ilay caught and beat up at the hotel in Hong Kong. One of the worst things that Ilay did was forcing Tae to give him a BJ. Basically, Tae gives Ilay a head, and suddenly Gable (he works for Ilay) knocks on the door and enters the room without waiting for a word. Given that Ilay knows Gable's about to enter the room, he continued to fck Tae's in the mouth. Mind you, Jaeui might be a captive, but Raman gives him a beautiful room to stay at. He visits him every night to check up and talk. Despite his busy schedule he still finds ways to visit Jaeui. I'm not gonna tell how the fck they had to escape that tower but it was a hella ride. And it's very interesting since in this part, Tae accidentally confessed to Ilay. There's some misunderstanding that will come at the middle of the rescue and Ilay will turn into a goddamn angry bird again, but they will be just fine at the end.

Is it just me, I think Ash needs more development when it comes to expressing his love to Lyle. I can really feel the emotions flowing out of how Lyle is in love with Ash, but the character of Ash just seems so bland. The creator really needs to redeem Ash's character in these remaining chapters. Istg. All in all, their story is just really cute, and green. The creator just needs to put some development when it comes to Ash.

His horrible communication skills. He also easily hurts Lyle. He really struggles with being honest and open. For example in the recent chapters he doesn’t let Lyle touch him and instead of providing a reason he sweet talks him. He even noticed that Lyle is visibly upset but can’t come to the conclusion that his rejection is what’s causing it. While Lyle is too insecure to bring any issues up Ash doesn’t communicate about what is important at all and instead buries everything with his flirting
i see your pov but i feel like hes communicating more verbally after the Hazel incident. then again to each their own. But yeah i do feel like their communication was on top towards the end of the novel. Especially in the pregnancy and how he calmed Lyle.
Now that you mention it, theres also how Ash flirts his way when he knows theres a problem bc hes too cautious to hurt Lyle until it becomes this big problem then they communicate clearly, like the Hazel and Richard incident. But thankfully it doesn’t seems this way towards the end of the novel. so yes there does seem to be development in Ash’s side.
