All three of them were wrong. Place yourself in Haesoo’s position. If you said No and Stop, you’d mean it right? There is no forgiving that.

Maybe you should re-read then? Thats not rape, its dubcon, after that scene when joowon kiss haesoo, haesoo shove him hard saying he didnt want it, meaning haesoo can decline but decide not to. Then joowon shocked seeing haesoo didnt like it, because they always have push/pull and love/hate interaction since young, that he didnt think haesoo would mind it. Their dynamic definitely unhealthy, but both are at fault at creating it.

first of all: it was SUPER clear haesoo and joowon had a rough push/pull game in their sex throughout the first bit of the story. they purposely did things to provoke one another and got off on it. in the car, haesoo narrates that he was humiliated and aroused. So yeah he seems to have a humiliation kink when joowon purposely "disrespects" him lol (haesoo probably likes to be choked too lets be honest). Then Joowon offers to suck him off too, and stops when Haesoo ACTUALLY gives him a hard "stop it!". Again: there is no rape because he stops when Haesoo tells him to stop.
And then Haesoo thinks: "dang we do always do shit like this, why did i overreact like this today??" They've had like 10 WHOLE years to establish this,, so yes Joowon read the room wrong and Haesoo literally doesnt blame him for it cause it was actually himself acting out of the ordinary (all explained in his narration).

The point is: joowon and haesoo have a dynamic in their relationship where haesoo purposely acts like he wants to stop, but it's only with the intent to make joowon keep going and provoke him and humiliate him. it might seem weird to you, but at the end of the day its just kinky. the car scene was no different (and haesoo was literally aroused by the humiliation) until he SERIOUSLY said stop it to joowon and joowon looked surprised and did in fact: stop.

also: you cannot blatantly ignore the fact that joowon STOPPED when he was given the hard "stop it!"? that's the opposite of rape and it’s makes it clear that despite how much jw and hs provoke each other with their push/pull game in their sex, they do have lines and boundaries in the end.

The distinction is clear enough to us readers, when haesoo decided to give joowon a bj, and then declined for joowon give one to him too— that this cannot be classified as rape. It’s dubcon at best.
