The mc doesnt even start doing anything yet the father suddenly acts nice unlike in the original story

what i think is that the father could already was in fact love his daughter but we didn't get to see that in the novel and the father only hating on her maybe would be that she was to cruel and cannot be fix. It also seem like the Older sister have some sort of evil intented like acting pitiful and stuff and yer i dont even know if im explain this right. Hope u understand what i mean
