She ended things bc she overheard him say he didn't actually love her, but I think she still misses him so that's why she was trying to create scenarios to "bump into" each other

The girl with the ex just wanted to make her ex jealous, but obviously she didn’t intend to get back together with him—she just wanted to rub it on his face in a sense that she’s “with someone”, with obviously bittersweet feelings leftover for their relationship.
The guy with the ex celebrity girlfriend just went along with it for the same concept, but maybe his was more as revenge—well I guess both of the characters did it for revenge— since his ex is goofy af

can't you just pay attention to the manhwa....she clearly said it she just wanted her ex to feel a bit of regret for treating that way all those years...to show him she can be happy without him

So, season 1 will end at chapter 50. Eva will come back to see Gage. However, Gage was nowhere to be found in his mansion, so Eva searched for him—all while thinking that he might’ve betrayed her like what her fiancé did to her. Anyways, she will stumble upon Gage—in his true form—the devil. (I only saw this spoiler from a post. I haven’t really read chapter 50 yet.)
