God I'm getting bored with this. I thought that them getting married meant they were ready to be mature about the relationship and communication. But they suck at it even more than before. That's it I'm done goodbye!

People who like Jihyun, can you please explain me why?
For me he hasn't even shown anything good. He isn't even funny or charismatic. Like I cent even understand liking his character because I can't see anything notable aside from his bad boy vibe.
He isnhot sure, but what else.

Now, I hate him, but I'm not looking to start a fight I just can't understand what makes people like him and wish him a happy ending after being anrapist that ruined lots of people's lives.

Personally I love the puppy seme kyujin... more... But sadly the author only focus on jihyun... :'(
Maybe people love jihyun because his dark past and his pov in this story (also because he's hot af)

But me myself hate him (maybe because I had a trauma with this kind of person) overly possessive and toxic relationship is a big no no for me.

Hmm, thats difficult. I usually hate characters like Jihyun and also hate when the mc ends up with someone who could hit, rape and psychologically torture them. But.. I think maybe for me, because Jihyun was such a well done character and I could just feel him as a "real" person. I felt sorry for him and also found him very attractive. I think he really did try to be good for chiwoo but he also never learned how to communicate and love right since his family is like that and even though none of it is chiwoo fault, Chiwoo never tried to communicate openly with Jihyun about things either so how would Jihyun know how to handle things concerning chiwoo and not explode. That doesn't justify his actions at all but I understand how his character came to be. I think when Chiwoo finally disclosed his thoughts and feelings to Jihyun in the end, he realized some things he never understood before, which is why he left in peace. Maybe things could have gone better if they had done so long ago. Also some people think that Jihyuns love cant be true love but I disagree. I think true love comes in many forms, the love is real to him even if he shows it in twisted ways. It is an unhealthy love though. But it does show that he really does love Chiwoo. The last thing that did it for me was seeing how comfortable the two were when they were alone at chiwoos house in middle school. I just think that Jihyun feel true love towards Chiwoo but that he was unable to canalise it in a healthy way. And that is sad. I felt they had built up a deep connection that sadly Jihyun ruined in time. Fegarding his personality, I can't pinpoint what it is I like. I think he is very affectionate in some ways and he would always do things with and for Chiwoo and just be himself and that is Nice I think (not counting his crazy side here). Yeah, I think that is it.

Personally I thought he would have a chance to redeem himself even after all the bad shit that happened but the author cut everything off so quick then immediately started a quick relationship with Kyujin out of nowhere and I just didn’t understand it, they could have really had time to build this relationship up slowly and understood each other. The story was focused on Jihyun a lot so I wanted to get to know him, see how their relationship developed so it really threw me off when he suddenly went to Kyujin and the story ended. I really pitied Jihyun and it’s not even about pity because I could relate to this situation and it didn’t end well and if I had to choose between a Jihyun or kyujin I would choose Jihyun because my own personal Kyujin in life was much harder after we ended up together than Jihyun personality wise. By giving my own Jihyun a chance he changed for the better. I just wish the author gave him a little more time and one more chance just one more.

I think Jihyun is actually a really kind character, aside from his fight with Chiwoo. Jihyun is only a bit emotionally unstable, he doesn’t realize his own feelings and is scared than chiwoo would leave him. So he tries to keep chiwoo to himself. But then he crosses the line. So I really feel sorry for Jihyun and wish him the best.

So the author apparently confirmed Chiwoo was raped. And I'm so glad the author decided to not show an explicit scene for that, because in this genre it will likely be seen as sexy.

Oh, now you are just fucking with us

CacahuateEstornudo January 7, 2020 4:33 am

People, go on and ship Jihyun and because you like the characters, or think it's more interesting. But for fucks sake, don't justify his actions.
Violence isn't justified under any circumstances.
Chiwoo didn't owe Jihyun shit. He didn't acknowledge his feeling? Well maybe he didn't reciprocate those feelings. If someone ignores your romantic advanced you accept that they are unwanted and move one, you don't obssess and make their life a living hell.
And no, chiwoo could defend him on the murder acussations. He was on the floor, bleeding unconscious. If I was beat up and sent to the hospital by my best friend while he is drunk and the heard he killed a man I wouldn't just say, he is innocent.
His declaration would be
Dear judge, although this man was under the effects of alcohol, shows violent tendencies and was in a psychotic break at the moment, and I actually don't know if he actually committed the crime or not, because I have no evidence, I believe he is innocent.

I love jihyun's character because is deep, interesting and complex. But I don't like him. We all like a good villain in a movie, but we don't make them out to be a good person.
Jealousy is not love, is obsession and insecurities. If your loved one loves you, he will stay with you and that is not for you to decide.
Possessiveness is wrong, you are not an object. You don't owe love to anyone, your love can be taken back at any time and you are free.

I hope you never enter a relationship with any of those traits, they are not good. They are not love, because love is supposed to be something nice that makes you smile, not something that hurts you.
