Maybe Huimin's stepfather sent those people because he didn't want Iheon and Huimin to end up together. I mean he was strongly against their relationship later in the story as well and Huimin acted like it was actually against his wish to get close to his stepfather to get that ledger to disclose all their corruption.

I don’t think kloff ever really loved him. I think he had feelings for him… but he saw him as aerocs replacement. Raph loved him so kloff just went with it, but his eyes were always on Aeroc.

Ok I relate to mc a lot, because if I date someone I am doing it with the intention of creating a bond, there are people like that, so it's not enough talking about your day and bland conversations, it'sjust not enough for me, I want to know the person for real, but when you don't see the same effort in the other person there are 2 options: 1. this person is superficial and i'm not interested in someone like that, 2. This person is not interested in me enough to open themselves, so let's move on.
