ml was doing good but why the fuck did he injure/kill the maids after all his efforts to not scare yeondam off? i really thought that was the past.. or some kind of imagination. i can see improvements though and i don't really expect that much so rooting for the development, jinhwa (???) !! mc kinda pisses me off sometimes, and also, he looks like a villain when he smiles to his enemies LOL
The emperor lashed out and injured them, but I don't think he killed them or inflicted permanent damage. Yeo-dam’s early influence on him over many years has changed him for the better, but it's not like he doesn't have a long ways to go yet.

oh god the second story should've been the highlight of this manga. it deserves the spot more than the first story (which incredibly pissed me off like fuck). the 2nd one is def one of my faves now
