first of all, this is what happens when you sexualize people. they feel disgusted and isolated. traumatized and become mentally unstable, the worst. pls stop being disgusting and keep your thoughts to yourself. don't look at "innocent" people sexually, you bastard.
second, the stockholm syndrome is realistic at this one. it's not fluff and the sort like how it's portrayed in other mangas/manhwas. you get terrified, depressed, anxious. it's scary.
lastly, mc’s feelings for his senpai got stronger bc he felt safe. he's his refuge from his sick brother. a breath of fresh air. i wish they ended up together.
everyone here needs a psychiatrist, and that includes me. i feel so mentally exhausted reading this. i don't think i'm still sane.
the plot is pretty interesting and it got me hooked. so far, it's pretty good. but there are times that it gets really cringey and embarrassing, like, rakan is really naive and it's sometimes unbearable. i love the other characters and their reactions are really hilarious, especially the snake (he's my fave!). there are a lot of characters now too, it's getting harder to memorize their faces and names. it feels so fantasy-ish though and unbelievable since they were once enemies but turns out they're actually kind. it would be fine if it's just a few but rakan really slapped my face with a "we should be nice to everyone and try to save the enemy". for heaven's sake, am i in the shounen genre?
i still have a long way to go (currently in vol 6) and i really hope it won't disappoint me.
aron is such a bastard. a heartless asshole. just bc you're someone noble, you think you can ruin someone's life? he started everything. he's very spoiled and it's not even the cute type of "spoiled". if i were quinton, i would've been done with all his shit, make him cry and run back to his daddy. he gets annoying as the story progresses, just as annoying as his "bestfriend" aka the right hand of satan
he took all his notes, burned his textbooks, and all the other stuff which would supposedly make quinton fail. won't failing mean bad grades = losing his scholarship? not only that, quinton has to use/ask for money when they're already in a bad financial state. but that's only what i can say for now since i have not yet caught up with the latest chapters, i really hope he gets better.

uhhh is this far behind the donghua? i can see the animation didn't include some parts so i'm confused. i already forgot abt the novel, and i don't remember in which chapter in the manhua i am now
Donghua is definitely the one far behind. Haha.
oh, i see. i'll try to recall what happened last in the donghua, then. thanks.
the storytelling order in the donghua is switched around even in s2 (havent watched it yet tbh but ik it is) compared to the novel and manhua so just a heads up. best adaptation of the novel is definitely the audio drama tho i definitely suggest it
thanks !! no wonder i thought manhua is far behind since i think the latest chapters are already shown in the donghua
