To me the shittiest part is that the plot here is really similar to a BL old classic called Zankoku na Kami, but there the new fiance is rich and the mom is poor and he manipulates and rapes her son. And in that one the son really gets messed up in the head and has all this PTSD and trauma and basically almost never recovers from the abuse, it's really sad. The only difference between this guy and Greg (from the old manga) is that he was old and rich and not as handsome... so it feels really creepy to me when I've read the more "realistic" version. Because they both kind of manipulated the kid into being okay with it and threatened them with telling their mom *politely*... >_>
The thing that bothers me the most is that, we forget, but an adult woman wrote this manga. This story is not a teenager's delusions who doesn't understand age gaps or what grooming and manipulation means, and just thinks having a "forbidden older lover" is exciting.
