Idk man. I encounter some manhwa art that change drastically after a long hiatus. This one is hard to swallow. Can I bear it, probably yes. It's not bad, but it's not good either.
I hate the change in art style. The previous one seems more polish and complete with certain edge. The new feels rigid and inexperienced. So disappointing. I had high hopes for the update, but not this bad. Sigh...
This manga is going in circle, back and forth. All the lead characters makes me angry, cringe and frustrated.
All I can feel from these characters were loneliness. They were kindred spirits, longing for an ounce of love and kindness. They never get the familial love. It's so sad. One lost his love, one chose to extinguish his life, one save a life but died.
I love the complexity of this chapter. You can't be mad at Zeno and blame him. But you can't support the suffering of the dragon in the future after Yona's time.
I remember why I drop this. This is so messy. At first I pity the mc, but now I hate him. He suddenly acts like an asshole. The father, no question, hate him also. The son, yup hate him early on but begining to pity him.
The plot, painfully slow. The storyline, messy af. No character development. I'm not sure how this will end.
I feel like there's like a surge of popularity with red flags of ML manhwa. Everywhere I search, every time I read. There's always these kind of characters. No hates btw, I love a little bit of suffering added to the story.
Now I know why I drop this. The ML presence is weak. I've skimmed through the chapters and it feels like Jason was the ML. The plot drags a lot. The pacing is weird. Idk how to say, feels stagnant.
Gladys should be grateful that Bjorn didn't exposed her being pregnant with her lover while marrying Bjorn. Instead she used her dead son to make the public think that Bjorn is still mourning for a dead son that are not even his. She's a snake I tell you.
