I completely understand why she did that to Eclise, and honestly, she should have added more combos. When Penelope was going through the pre-stage of the game, things (actions, decisions, etc) felt high-stakes; she was really struggling with everything and not having someone to fully depend on through it all. And when Eclipse brought the other pink girl (sorry, I forgot her name), it just felt like a fuking blow. Like Penelope was climbing a mountain and some just dropped a boulder from above heading towards her. And I get it; his situation was not good; he was manipulated by Penelope and got brainwashed by the pink-haired mage. But from Penelope's perspective, it must have felt like her life might well have ended with a fight then and there when he brought Yvonne (finally remembered her name). It's good that she isn't forgiving him for that because, considering her situation and who she is as a person, it wouldn't make sense if she did forgive him.
That's why you should always listen to your gut people. If something feels of 9 times out of 10 it is.
