I don't think Blondie is lying. Hajun only remembered Candy's name but not his face. and blondie's name happens to be Yunjae too. So Hajun assumed he's the same kid when he saw blondie at the hospital as a kid.

The only reason Hajun believed blonde Yunjae was the lil kid that he saved is because in his memories he remembers that he was bleeding from his arm and when he saw a kid with a scar on the same arm he assumed it was him from a very young age but because of the injury for most of his life he couldn’t see the face clearly from before the accident, well that is until now. Yunjae didn’t lie to Hajun, Hajun will ask Yunjae about the scar and he says he’s too young to remember how he got it, so Hajun was only ever driven by speculation (〜￣△￣)〜
