This was cute! The FL does cry easily but not for sympathy or because she’s weak. She’s capable, kind, & genuinely likable. Seeing the animals thoughts was funny especially when the horse calls her babe The ML was the only downside. He’s so damn useless & needed a slap to the head.
This was actually good. The ML was a rich playboy but he wasn’t an asshole and he was honest. I liked the progression of their romance and the storyline and the plot was believable. Of course everything happened quickly but it wasn’t the tired bull shit romance trope that harlequin usually does.
The cover does give off caveman vibes lol but the story is actually sweet. I almost dropped it but the story does progress nicely & I lover her sincerity in trying to find her soulmate. The ending is also cute & satisfying (●♡◡♡●)
She should’ve pushed him off the cliff when they went on that hike. He didn’t deserve forgiveness & I don’t give a shit about his sob story. Everyone has their story but you don’t use yours to treat people suspiciously without evidence & giving them a chance to explain themselves.

There’s nothing wrong with being a stay at home mom & housewife but FL lost herself to those roles. She has no identity outside of taking care of her family. Her husband is a workaholic & he isn’t paying enough attention to her or the kids. Just because he’s providing monetarily doesn’t mean he’s exempt from helping out at home. I understand it’s flattering when someone who isn’t your partner shows an interest in you but you’re married. There no excuse for him ending up at some woman’s house. She could’ve called a taxi for him if he was that drunk.
Charlie is such a brat! I understand his hatred of Tom because he is a selfish jerk, but he didn’t need to be so ungrateful & rude to his hardworking mom. The ex-husband was useless because he wasn’t there for his kid & left everything to the FL, even when they were married. Being a single parent is hard af & the FL did a good job of raising her kid. Also hate that big ass time gap between their divorce & reuniting. Most people would’ve moved on long ago.
Demetri is a dumbass & his mom is toxic af. Idk how you can just expect your wife to believe you didn’t get someone else pregnant when you straight up don’t deny it. What the shit else is she supposed to think ⊙﹏☉
