honestly, i tried defending sungyeon when he raped hosik since everything went kinda well afterwards. they got married, had a (not-so) peaceful life, even if they argue they still get along well. both of them got character development as time went by–sungyeon would do his best to be not as possessive and hosik grew some backbone.
even tho sungyeon got some red flag characteristic it was still fine because he's a good husband to his husband and a good father to his son. or maybe i think that way because he's the father i never had
