I think it’s there most obvious trope. They’re probably gonna reincarnate or something, cuz how else is this gonna play out? I doubt it’s gonna be a tragedy end (⊙…⊙ )
It think there have been more stories with the trope of redeemable villain. If it's a long enough story I can easily see, how the seme protects the uke, how the uke falls for him but doesn't want to, time spent apart or something, finding out the back story of the seme, sacrifice for the uke, lots of ways they can come together for a HE. Look at POFN.
