I'm so confused how the Baron is still alive to become someone else's sex slave. Didn't his face get cut off? Skin is a vital organ, and the shock of having such a large portion removed is enough to kill a person, and the Baron doesn't seem healthy/strong enough to survive such shock.
I don’t recall where it mentioned having his skin taken off, it might be a mask? There’s aspects in the story that are rather modern (notably the swimsuits that were CLEARLY not from the era European inspired villainess stories tend to reference) so it’s possible, especially when akuya has a lot of money
It wasn't mentioned specifically. I'm making an inference since they zoomed in on the scars on either jaw several times while her father was impersonating the Baron. Scars that were not there previously.

What I don't understand is she didn't love OG ML and was even cruel to him when she was OG FL, but now, she's flirting with him, blushing at his actions, and disappointed he doesn't recognize "her" as OG FL from her first life in this novel. Why?? I had assumed he wouldn't be the ML since she seriously didn't love him but it seems like he is?

no as u can see through the flashbacks and info she gives, it seems at first she didn't want to be with him cuz she liked him, but eventually ended up liking him

To my understanding, I think she did like him in her past life as the OGFL but since she didn't want to follow the original story line she chose to be cruel to him. But now that she kinda knows that the story is changing she has hope that she can love him?? Honestly idk its confusing
