Imo, as I was reading this, I thought this was fine until the baby talk didnt stop...I get it, she's still a kid and kids can have lisps, but I think I started to get bored bc of it. Not too bad tho.
just a heads up, not trying to be rude because i understand your pov, but the baby talk gets better lol and usually children who suffer great traumas have a harder time learning how to speak and how to act, so maybe thats why the baby talk went on for a long time
