Angst and lack of communication are a popular way to drag out a story and bring in drama. If overdone it can get annoying and ridiculous, but this is very well done imo. You can understand why the characters talk (or not talk) the way they do, and although it's frustrating, it's realistic. Lack of communication is not all that's going on here. It's not the driving drama. It's only one of the effects of these two different individuals with different lifestyles being in a relationship. On a side note, college is freaking awesome, like Kohei says, where else would you get so many people with different backgrounds and preferences interacting together like that?

Hmm. I like the ship, but would actually prefer if they stayed just friends. What other manga depicts such a beautiful bromance? Starting to look like the author is heading that way though. Either way it'll turn out good I'm sure. This mangaka has never let me down
