Well, I don't like this webtoon so much that I'd be willing to pay for it, especially when they're just electronic copies and I have to pay for individual chapters. If they had a yearly subscription for access to all their mangas I'd probably pay it. Hell, if they had a weekly/monthly subscription where I'd get a physical copy of all the released manga I'd still pay it. But paying for coins that buy electronic chapters? Dumb.

Then how they will be able to get to Forbes, if they consider their authors 's right or being fair to their readers?

IDK how Forbes works but for any regular magazine releases, they could give a percentage of the earnings/sales to the authors. Of course you have to consider popularity so they could have to have some type of polling/survey system online to rank stories and increase pay that way. This is all hypothetical of course, I have limited knowledge of the industry but at least in the west, I don't see Lezhin succeeding like other webtoon providers. I.e. LINE

Not much of fair comparison. Line is owned by Naver ( https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naver_(corporation) )
so they succeed without selling a single webtoon or using ads. It's comparable to bring owned by Google. I could be wrong but Lezhin has higher sales than any other selling webtoon provider in Korea.

They likely removed the daily bonus because of exploitation.
In the past month I've noticed the same amount of sales, at least on the us site (coinback sales weekly, one coin/fire sales weekly, and coin bundles sales ~ every other week). I don't keep up with the kr site often but I know they had at least 2 sales on coin purchases in the past month, there's actually one going on now. The last price change was September 1st on us site and all but the smallest bundle had a slight increase in coins given while keeping the same cost.
Lezhin changed the way to pay on the English site last week by adding paypal and accepting more credit cards. However the ease of paying was the same for me. The Korean site hasn't changed payment. How did you pay in the past?

Hiya! I only wanted to ask since you seem to be a Lezhin member: I want to register for Lezhin as well to buy their chapters. When you pay with those coins, do you get the chapter which you purchased as a data for example pdf or do you just have a library in your Lezhin account and as soon as you have bought your chapter, you can always have an access to it? Do the purchased chapters expire after a time such that you need to buy them again to read them? Also, I read it is not possible to get free coins in the internet anymore. Are there usually other ways to get free coins sometimes? :) I hope you can help me. I am sorry for my questions and thanks a lot in advanced!

1. They save to your Lezhin account library. Currently Lezhin has no method of offline viewing.
2. No chapters do not expire. If you unlocked the chapters with coins then you'll have access to those chapters indefinitely.
3. Lezhin discontinued the 10 coin reward for downloading and signing into the PLUS app in May. Attendance coin/point rewards were discontinued last month. The reason for the attendance rewards was not specified however the PLUS rewards was removed because of "multiple cases where some users manipulated the reward system with malicious intent". The attendance rewards may be been removed for a similar reason.
The only other way to get free coins is through random Facebook events, where 1 to 3 people who participated are awarded coins for completing a task (it could be liking/sharing a post, writing a summary, or completing a scavenger hunt).

Whaaa, thanks a lot for your help!!! Your detailed answer was very helpful for me. One last question: Do coins expire after a time or do they stay indefinitely, too? :)

That depends on the type of coin.
Coins you purchase with money have no expiration date.
Bonus coins, which cannot be purchased, do expire. Bonus coins given after coin back events or Facebook events. The expiration date for bonus coins would be specified when you redeem them. Typically bonus coins from coin back events expire within 4 days. If you ever decide to participate in the coinback event make sure you completely read the event conditions. The conditions give an exact date the coins can be redeemed and an exact date they will expire. I'm uncertain how long bonus coins from Facebook events last but I don't think it's more than a week. If you're ever awarded bonus coins don't forget to use them before they expire. Lezhin will not give you more bonus coins if you don't use them in time (exceptions might be made only if there's a system error).
Unless otherwise stated, you can use bonus coins the same way as purchased coins. If you have bonus coins on your account they will always be spent first before the regular coins are used.
Holy hell I wasn't expecting an update. Thank you sensei sama for the early Christmas present!
