Are all omegaverse mangas like this? With the poor omega being chased around and raped everywhere? I'd been avoiding omegaverses until now but I think I'll go back to avoiding them.

    Anonymous February 20, 2017 11:05 pm

Not all are like that. There are cute onces. I recommend reading: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/tadaima_okaeri/ (there's a sequel 2) The baby so cute.

Omg, yes! "Tadaima, Okaeri" is the most beautiful omegaverse I've read.

    ¥401 February 21, 2017 1:40 am

of course not m8. don't categorize the whole genre with one manga :3
this is one of those extremes, but there are plenty of fluffy omegaverse stories too like the ones suggested above (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

    Neonfun February 21, 2017 2:35 am

    Abarenbo honey and
Wagamama mo Kimi no Tame Nara Ikura Demo are really nice ones as well; less heavy on rape and just happen to be omega x alpha

    Ruth February 21, 2017 3:12 am

Try Sayonara Alpha. It's sad AF in chapter 4 :'v

    LessThanThree February 22, 2017 9:13 pm

This is actually progress, imo. In other omegaverses when an alpha rapes an omega they always justify it by saying the omega was giving off pheromones and the alpha couldn't resist. This is the first one I've seen where they call out that bullshit. Tadaima Okaeri is basically the only safe omegaverse, lol.

    Asdjkl February 25, 2017 5:48 am

not really, its what their society creates tho, alpha/beta/omega dynamics is one of my fave setting, its not a genre but yea its like an Alternate Universe, omegaverse au. (Its a wolf thing) and in this Au, all humans mostly act through their instinct, and by instinct, i mean animalistic instinct., i dunno about other animals but dogs in reality are atleast having 2 heats per year (my neighbor's two months old dog is grinding-i mean thrusting itself to any pole like or any feet of the persons who comes close) its that severe, a merely 2 months old puppy going in heat that early. The other author might spice it up a bit gentle but honestly, this Au is for smut/sex/unending lust, probably rated 21+ if you measure (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

Can someone remind me what Kazehaya is planning to do after HS? Why is his dad pressing him to study so much? And why was it that he gave up baseball? Is he even planning to go to college? It's been so long I don't remember

    kj February 3, 2017 1:30 am

He wants to take over his father's sports shop, although his father wanted him to go to college and do better.

Thanks! Was there a reason why he wants to take over the shop? I briefly recall him wanting to help out his sickly mother but I'm not sure

Queenbanana January 30, 2017 5:43 am

A serious waste of time. It tried too hard to be tragic and psychological but came out cliche and forced instead. No character development. You feel zero empathy for any of them and there's absolutely no chemistry even with the girl. Waste of potential.

Plus I know someone with leukemia and it isn't like that at all. "You got a few months to live". Uhhhh no. You struggle it out day by day until it goes away with chemo. The mangaka obviously didn't do her research.

Even if it wasn't curable then, lukemia is portrayed too unrealistically here, I know it's not the point of the story but it just ruined the story for me.

You tell me. I bought a copy of this piece genuine crap and regretting it. It was promoted like a threesome heaven. when in fact is just a lame rape. a manipulative sick girl using her illness to play with guys without a care of their feelings. showed the guys like they were in love with her, when in fact is just obsessive infatuation, specially her original boyfriend that was forced to accept all her whims in other to be with her. then he get pissy and rape the last guy who was clueless about the situation.

I don't find this a genuine psychological, just child/teen whinny angst.

I also know someone with Leukemia and yes it IS like that. It's not aggressive but if and when it does become like that it will be, "you only have a few months to live," even in the here and now. I agree with everything else you said but please don't generalize your one experience onto everyone else'. Btw, I live in Canada so it's not like I live in a country with shirty healthcare.

I've been triggered. My family member with leukemia passed away . You are right, every case is not the same. But I just doubt if you have a couple months left, they would give up just like that. Wouldn't it be more of a "you're not responding to this chemo so we're going to try these pills instead" and repeat until there was absolutely nothing to do?

Does anyone have any good recommendations with similar themes to this one?

    enko-shoujo February 5, 2017 12:50 pm

Not sure if it could be called similar, but I enjoyed Undergrand Hotel.

But Underground Hotel is a completely different story (full of violence, but we are talking about the lifes of people in a prison, so). The plot is really interesting.

Indeed it's a different story, but the drama/psychological aspect reminded me of Sojou no Koi. And both manga seem realistic.

Piano no Mori is another music manga just as amazing as this one. Definitely recommended

time to reread!

The shitty translation doesn't help either

Queenbanana January 2, 2017 9:15 pm

Why does the uke always have to have drool, or snot, or tears? -sigh

    Tara Dikov January 6, 2017 11:59 am

IKR? It's like one of the yaoi tropes. For me, it just makes the work dirty (as in all over the place and not neat).

    Yaoifan January 16, 2017 2:03 am

I´ve always thought that too! Foog to know I´m not the only one who dislike things like that. ( ̄へ ̄)

    Anonymous February 8, 2017 6:08 pm

Because he's the one who's taking the dick. So either he is crying from pain, drooling from satisfaction or he is snotty because he has the flu. Take your pick

Queenbanana December 28, 2016 3:27 pm

First and third were the best. First could be turned into a series.

Queenbanana December 23, 2016 4:46 pm

I fear this is coming to an end :(
