I don't think there's any chance that he'd choose the ex, the whole time he's just been thinking in terms of "I need to make him understand that it's over." I think Minsuk knows he likes Bexan, but he still thinks Bexan will leave soon so he doesn't want to get too attached or hope for too much. Also, the flashback he just had of Bexan asking him to come to Siberia seems a bit similar to the ex wanting him to move - maybe he thinks Bexan is also thinking about his own future and not Minsuk's. I'm sure it'll all work out though! It has to, right??

They got closure from the people they used to love and by the time he went back, her was too late. Same for the baker. So he had to go through with the marriage. After 2 years, he finally came back and the mc finally did what he wanted to, which was tell him not to leave.
