I believe there will be death, I have read enough literature to know when a death flag is coming and setting a future with a ring in a story that has a ton of death and murder, yeah one if not more will die
Listen you that's the problem too much death flag pointing at both touka and kaneki ishida is too unpredictable for him to go and do something like that too much death flag pointing at both of them what will that accomplish for kaneki if touka die for him to go back batshit crazy and on a murderous rampage character development gone down the drain right there are do you prefer for him to go batshit crazy and call that development .and for touka what will that accomplish for her when she just get him back just too lose him again here the thing Tokyo ghoul was not even a tragedy for kaneki.in Tokyo ghoul kaneki wanted to die that suicidal not tragic which he got when every thought he die Tokyo ghoul re is not in a tragic genre RE is kaneki second chance for him . that's Just my opinion
ok ok, maybe not both mcs but i do feel that touka;s death is upon us. she had her way with him and giving the ring, finally letting him know the way she feels in her own way. I cant see it going too much further with her; I just dont see them riding off into the sunset together. I definitely dont want kaneki to die and i dont think he will, he is the type to bear the burden for everyone else. But what about Amon, Mado, Takizawa (i cant spell sorry), the Gourmet, Nishiki (sorry, it is late and i am butchering the names, i hope you get who i am referring to), Uta (is he even alive after the rape? i cant remember now) are they going to just live happily ever after, after the ccg comes in and does what to them-tickle 'em? there is a final battle coming, that means ghouls and people will die, beloved characters. it will not be a happy ending for either side, that is war-death and destruction.
I can understand what you say but with ishida writing on all. there is this theory that it's going to be touka that will suffer in RE similar to what happen with kaneki in Tokyo ghoul that centipede is not a good sign it show up in the original when kaneki was being tortured by Jason and it show up here again that mean something is about to happen soon suffering for someone alot of people say it's touka because they think she going to be pregnant and loose the baby which is sad but I feel they will suffer but they won't die Just my opinion but ishida is just too unpredictable btw death flag show up for the original casts alot
had a hard time reading because it seemed like fluff. thankfully, was not disappointed by chapter 3. :D (not condoning rape, just hate fluff really bad.)

i think they're killing the point about misogyny and sexism by making her such a bitch. not even girls would like that kind of character. i'm a starch feminist and she annoys me beyond belief. if you want to make a strong feminist female character that readers will love, both male and female, the last thing you want to do is make almost all of her action fanservice, because that's really annoying. it honestly takes away the intensity from the fights. people need to take some notes about Kagura from Gintama, because that's as close as i personally can get to liking a shounen female character. in fact, i'm pretty sure almost all the women that have appeared in Gintama are very decent female characters without any kind of unnecessary cliche shounen personality. and they're all badass in their own ways, too. even if some of them aren't really "beast fighter types."

yeah! and she's really stubborn. her life was in danger yet she still refused to accept help from somebody that was readily available and completely willing to help her. she has no right to choose if she's not strong enough to defend her own life.
I think it's more realistic having her act like a total bitch. It's the only way men listen in this world, and she can't accept help. That would make her, "weak," just like "all women are." She's trying to disprove those lies. I do agree that they should make her fights less for fanservice, though. While I'm all about empowering the female body, it's ridiculous how many powerful women in manga have to wear shorter clothing than the males. And then they pose while they fight to where it's obvious just for the readers to gawk at. It annoys me endlessly, but at least her character doesn't approve of how we treat women.
I honestly don't completely mind this bitch thing. As long as she's not just fan service and smart with her decisions, that kind of character is usually tolerable. But I hate her because she wasn't smart with her decisions. There's no point in acting tough when you're not actually tough. If you need help during a fight you can't win on your own, just suck up your pride and ask for it. Your life has more value than pride.
