Never did I say he's a perfect person. Taku was all over the place. I'm not sure he knew what he really wanted and especially how to go get it. I think he was attracted to haesoo because haesoo seemed like an interesting person to him. Someone he couldn't figure out. And for someone so nonchalant as him, that had to pique his interests.
But I do think he genuinely liked haesoo too. Even though he pursued him for the wrong reasons.
I didn't want him and haesoo together either. But I wished he didn't have to realize he does actually like haesoo, not just the thought of haesoo because he's interesting and then get his heart broken right after.
Again i'm not claiming taku is a perfect person. But he's not a manipulative monster you draw him out to be. He was confused and empty and haesoo seemed to be what he was looking for so he went after him, even if his ways were not morally the best.

i didnt say he was "monster" either. many ppl are selfish and manipulative, but theyre not like criminals lol. also he could figure out haesoo? he saw and understood haesoo's heartbreak, and pain and feelings very clearly, which is why he managed to take advantage of him. taku was just way too interested in the fact that he know how haesoo loved joowon so deeply ("from the start, haesoo's eyes were only on one person. maybe his unwavering eyes were what i loved the most" -his words not mine lol). like he literally tried to meddle AFTER he read haesoo's story about joowon. i dont know how that's not indicative enough to raise some red flags. reading someone else's romance story and then deciding you want to get involved out of curiosity?? kinda weird kinda weird
They went from feral enemies to being in such a clean, healthy relationship. Of all enemies-to-lovers stories I've read, theirs was the best. They are so cute omg

Him leaving at the end was probably the best ending. I wished he hadn't slept with doyeol again before leaving though...that was a bastard move. Doyeol's heart is gonna be even more broken now. I really hope doyeol gets over him. Not for the sake of his wife even but for himself. Maybe when he finally makes peace with leaving kyujin in the past, he can be honest and kind to himself and maybe learn to love his wife or leave her and actually find someone he can find love with again.
As for Jimin, I hope he finds peace too. Kyujin too. They all deserve to be happy. They did some crazy things (alabama crazy) but I guess they were blinded by loneliness and love.
I started reading this because the synopsis had me like '??? Cousins wtf' but then the story was actually really intoxicating, I won't lie. Anyways, as I said, I hope Doyeol, Kyujin, Jimin, Jimin's wife, the cafe owner and even jimin's ex/doyeol's classmate to find happiness and peace.
Taehwan is the first born child of an asian immigrant family who feels the pressure of having to be perfect to repay his parents for working so hard for him to have the life he has. Trust me, he must hate himself for being gay. He probably feels like he'll disappoint his parents after all that they've done for him. Even though his mom seems laid back it's hard to get out of that mentality. Trust me I'd know.
