Translator-sama I 100% agree with your meme. So far I don't have high hopes for that saintess. I first disliked her when she looked down on the MC as a corporate worker describing him as a slave animal. Secondly, the saintess is super naive and wishful. She rejected MC's good willed warning with anger because he was "refuting" her dreams; MC wasn't denying her, just further informing her since she took life and duty so lighthardly. MC didn't even yell or insult her. Thirdly, her results so far are... lack-luster, especially when compared to the MC. MC set the bar high: he's hardworking, his work actually produced meaningful results, and realistic. (Fourth, the most subjective and "important" reason I like MC but, not saintess: I'm a BL fan) (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Saintess failing to learn magic seems a bit reasonable since she's from earth and wasn't a magician. However, if in the future she becomes a burden on the battle field or loses sight of her original goal as a saintess despite committing (ie. running away, doesn't want to face death or misfortune, etc.) I'll really flip my device at this rate... (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
I will feel even more better if she doesn't make a remark belittling others work. Saintess doesn't know how good a guy MC is but, she will in the future!!

Yes, she seems to care this being a saintess job but I think she needs obstacles in her way to understand this is not a game. Ofc she may not be as mature as mc to see the events in a realistic way. I hope she grew up and understand the responsibilities of everyone is important in different ways.
I actually don't like her and expect her to screw up. But I hope when she did, it won't be a life and death situation. Of course our mc will be behind the doors hero (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
