i was soo impatient anyways here's what i understood
from the time boss strangled dajeong til date he's been hiring private investigators to get pictures and details of dajeong's life for him like he has a whole file of pictures
so this proves the theory right that he actually likes dajeong
now eventually something happens and dajeong confesses his feelings to boss so boss kisses him and takes him to the bedroom and handcuffs him
it seems he's quite sadistic so he uses a toy on him and eventually starts strangling him AGAIN dajeong passes out and the boss looks absolutely mortified and scared
he bathes dajeong and tells him to go home so atp the boss is thinking that he hurt dajeong because of how impatient he was (impatient because he's kinda been dreaming of that moment) and he doesn't want to do that to him again so it's better to just avoid him hence he starts ignoring him and instead of carrying out those sadistic fantasies on dajeong and hurting him he decides to try and use lee hyuk (main couple bottom) as a substitute since he has a similar physique

at first i thought yanai liked kazuya and was just going after gaku because he "belonged" to kazuya but later i started thinking yanai was just attached to kazuya because he never got to fight against him and he never got over it that's why he retired earlier too because his drive to fight against kazuya was what made boxing so exciting for him but then kazuya had to quit and boxing became boring...then he started liking gaku because he reminded him of kazuya in his prime
