i'm seeing some comments about letting the grandpa die because it's his time
speaking generally i don't think falling sick when you're old automatically means it's your time to go...and because he's old doesn't mean he's ready to give up on life or he has nothing else to live for either..he might still want to see his grandson get married, have kids etc etc also because he's in the hospital doesn't mean he's in pain or he's depressed my great grandma is in the hospital and every time we visit her she's happy and talking about the things she's going to continue doing when she's released..old people don't necessarily have a willingness to die, some of them still want to boogie
anywayyy let's just keep reading and see what happens

I understand your point 100% cause my grandma was the same and she DID get out of the hospital and Is well and healthy now. But I feel like when doctors tell you no treatment is working and your grandpa is asleep almost 24/7 or in a coma then I think it's rather cruel to keep them hooked up to machines in the hospital and to see them weaken so much. I think it would have been healthier and better for both of them to start end of life care and get out of the hospital and enjoy what's left of life. Anyway he has Geumryang now but I feel like not even a God's powers fan change the destiny of someone. Death comes for us all and it doesn't discriminate in any way.
can't believe some people are hating the story or calling it mediocre...ik people have different tastes blah blah but that's actually funny
This is one story I didn’t expect people to hate on…For what reason exactly?
One of their reasons: the art style.
Tch. Just because the art isn't that great to their perspective doesn't mean the story isn't great either. You got a story that has great art but the story is SHITTY. People who reads good art but shitty story sucks. But just like what < starflea > said, people have different tastes. Heh!
whattt people are saying the art isn't great?? OMG
Yeah. I see a lot of people complaining about the art style as not to their liking. Not just here though, but also in tiktok. I'm more active in tiktok and see a lot of contents, even stuffs I haven't watched nor read pops out there. That's how I first discovered Smyrna and Capri and the other stories from the very same author. And whenever I open the comment box, the comment box would be divided in two sides. One sides is filled with positive comments while the other side is filled with negative comments. I tend to ignore the negative ones but one of the comments/complaints I read is the art style. I'm not quite sure if I ever saw a comment about how the story is nothing but mid though. Well, people are different after all, just like what you mentioned.
wow that's actually something
i'll check some tiktok posts
Their art style is actually one of my fave aside from storytelling but I agree just because you know like doesn’t mean it sucks…
