I finally picked this back up after dropping it around a little before chapter 200. That's was years ago. I came back to this now out of curiosity only to find it completed. Then I read it. From start to finish. Completely.
I cried because WHAT WAS THAT ENDING WHAT
They could've ended it with the union disbanding, and Donald finally ending that garbage NOT BY LETTING HIMSELF DIE BY THAT RANDOM ASS TRUCK but by just going through life as normally as possible. Not needing to survive, but rather, live. He could've befriended Gray, just like he thought they might've done had they both met earlier. They couldn't been smart together going through day to day life. And then Stephen could be seen by Gray again. And they'd be an amazing trio of smarties. And they could've had fun. And all of Eunjang high. And all the schools could've been peaceful. No more fights, hierarchies, and meaningless bloodshed. Just a bunch of high school guys living it up while being the greatest friends ever.
BUT NO. THE AUTHOR AND WHOEVER DECIDES HOW THIS STORY GOES DECIDED TO END IT LIKE THIS I refuse to acknowledge this and while I respect the author's decisions I DO NOT AGREE. AT ALL. I WAS LITERALLY SOBBING TISSUES AND ALL WHEN DONALD DIED BECAUSE THAT WAS SO DUMB AND UNFAIR OMFG like there was NO REASON WHATSOEVER TO DO THAT OMFGGGGG literally im just so frustrated at how this ended because it doesn't feel right. It just doesn't. This isn't how I wanted it to end and it feels wrong and incomplete and unfair just ending the story like this.
But aside from all that, it was a great story. And I'm glad I picked this back up.
I actually really like Hwarin ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ she seems so real lmao and similar to Woojin n they seem nice tg even if it's js as friends ngl^^
