I'm not gonna lie the mc is getting pretty annoying now with all these absurd deals or challenges that she keeps making. I get it's for the plot and mc literally has plot armor to back her but it's so annoying see her stupidly say "I'll close the store forever if I lose" or "I'll move out of the Northern business entirely if blablabla" like what is she dumb not knowing what high stakes are OVER SOMEONE SHE COULD EASILY RETORT TO WITH WORDS LIKE HELLO????? And if he likes instant coffee so what? He could easily lie and say it's subpar compared to coffee in the capital like does she not know what lying is???????

Do these authors never learn? They want a popular story yet do the exact opposite of what the majority of readers want. Are they not tired of the same disgusting and story-ruining tropes?
