S1 was good, nice art, engaging story, it made my kokoro go doki doki at some moments. I read the comments I don’t know what I expected xD S2 is shit. And I don’t mean the change in the art style, they changed their personalities and this is what I couldn’t stand the most. Also omg so boring. After S1 the story gets super boring and predictable. I wish it ended on S1.

Tbh I have no idea why this title has such a low score it's really good. I know the topic is controversial and the disclaimer should be not for a single chapter but for all of them but it's so well delivered. Abuse is not glorified, Jae-ha is not likable we don't really feel compassion towards him since he's psycho not because of the trauma but of the way he is (psychopath) he's not red flag going green flag like in most titles, he's red flag going black. We are shown ML's mental state crumbling to the point of no return and the real struggle of Jin-Woo who tries to help him. People with weak minds that goes through such trauma would never listen to sweet words of encouragement.
I really like how Jae-ha is portrayed. He doesn't understand he's cruel. He has no empathy. We see his empty eyes and cold stare but also we are shown moments that led to ML's confused feelings. Moment's that fooled him to believe this can be happiness this is love, that Jae-ha's arms could give him safety. Safety, that he took away from him.
Jin-Woo's character is also written so good. From a smug well situated boy to a desperate shattered men. You could see him not being able to stand the feeling of fighting with windmills, when he's clearly good intentions and well justified actions were met with rejection.
The ending is cherry on top. No matter how long the healing process how many therapies or medication, such trauma (severe Stockholm syndrome) doesn't just go away, it stays, and the moment it's triggered all the hard work can go to hell.
ML was fighting for his life knowing that he has to believe he loves Jae-ha to truly be safe. And since his mind was so fragile he really did truly believe it.
It's not rainbows and unicorns with nice redemption arc. Its a f-king nightmare and that's why I love this title.
The only issue is the extra chapter with alternative universe.

I remember when I started reading it in 2019, had mixed feelings and in the end i dropped it as i couldn't really get into it. In the year of our lord 2025 I decided to give it one more chance and oh boy I was in for a treat! It's really good, the main story is so well managed, characters are likeable and go through nice development there is no space to be bored. I love the humor here and overall (except fairy-tail specials that aren't my thing) a very good piece of BL!

Tbh...I'm shocked. I'm shocked it has such a good score. I read through the end (up to side 16) and I didn't get the so awaited "it will be better later" moment. Some comedy/wooho parts were ok but the characters aren't likeable and the rest is plain stupid, cliche, infantile. I don't know if I'm missing the whole point of this piece like, is it satire? Or was I expecting too much?
I'm shocked I managed to finish this, it had potential and I love me some good Cinderella story but here about 2/3 of the manghwa was pointless. The storytelling was not good and supporting characters weren't needed at all with how they were written.
