I personally think that it is because he is a dolphin. He definitely gives off some kind of animalistic vibe, i was thinking shark, but people are saying he's another dolphin. I guess the entire thing is based on a legend about a pink dolphin that turned into an attractive young man at night to entice this girl and they'd basically just fuck 25/7.
