People continue hoping Suu ends up with Hwaryun, but I'm over here already feeling the Second-Lead syndrome where I hope the MC ends up with the better guy, but I have a feeling MC's gonna end up with the ML...I'm honestly just speculating and I don't know what's going to happen, but right now, my heart hurts.

Last time, I commented which was like years ago, I started victim-blaming on what MC should have done...for that I apologize to everyone who had to read my comment. Now that I'm back with a calmer mind, I actually do feel bad for the characters. This manga also shows us how we shouldn't act with all these awful, judgmental characters. I ended up reading the raws and liking it tbh. I know it's frustrating for some ppl ton continue reading, but continue hoping to see what u wanna see! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

In a western tradition, we know that most people don’t act the same way as those workers and those college students to them just because they’re gay. In a philosophical sense, we learn and learn what is right and wrong and we decide to act normally to those people who are in LGBTQIA+ community. We are lucky to be educated topics that are “sensitive” and tell ourselves how to deal with these kinds of situations.
On the contrary, the majority of the people in the eastern tradition have similar behaviors like those workers and university students towards the main couple. It is just unfortunate for them to have similar perspective to those kind of people in the Manhwa. Of course, many people are learning gradually about the discrimination towards LGBTQIA+ community and it is okay to educate them gradually. At least they’ll know the hardships that those people experienced so that they’ll decide in the end whether they still want to treat them the way they used to or they want to treat them differently in a better manner. We don’t get to force them to decide that they should act the same way as us because in our perspective, it is simply not right. We are free to decide and we are free to know what is right and wrong.
This story is overwhelmingly good to portray that there really are people, like the main couple, who are experiencing that way. It’s because of the people around them that they get pressured and think about their safety toward one another. This story tells us what we should and should not do to treat them fairly and at ease. As we understand this story, we know why those two people act like that, especially when the seme told the uke that they should act like strangers publicly because the seme doesn’t want to see the uke suffer, like what happened in the past. The uke understands the seme’s reasoning, but the uke still wants to act normally, but discreetly, in public. Their relationship leveled up and down because of their experiences toward other people. We know that in reality, they shouldn’t care but think about where they are living and what the majority of supposedly the “normal” people think about the people that are in LGBTQIA+ community. It just sucks to be living that way and it is still happening today. As to those “normal” people who think that their relationship is “disgusting”, “gross”, and “shitty”, obviously we can’t comprehend their reasoning because we view them as the “wrong” idea to have that philosophical view.
Wow... I just wrote an essay
Sorry lol
I’m taking philosophy this year and I just kept thinking about stories like these.
