The art looks amazing so far, but after reading the first chapter and re-reading the summary, it seems like I'm not going to like how this will go at all. But dang the guy looks really handsome!

I'm so thankful for the improvement in the art styles throughout the mid to late chapters. It's really a step up from the super pointy and elongated faces from the first few chapters. The plot is pretty cute too.

Based on the author's other works, this might actually not be shounen-ai but more bait fanservice.

It may end up with actual hetero. romance between Shiro and Touko and/or Anri with the "goddess" lady or whatever. I can't really tell if Anri actually likes her. Also, the previous pairings in this manga were all between men and women (even though there was that one male pairing but it turned out to be a false one with one of the guys killing the other to be with a woman). Everything else really has been fanservice to oogle the guys' bodies and stuff. I still have hopes that I'm wrong and things will remain the same. I just want to see more of the bromance between Shiro and Kojiro to continue. I don't hate Touko, btw.
Very cute, but it gets cheesy and a bit boring halfway when they get into the same scenarios with some trouble going on and she proves herself or makes her more endearing to the others. Also, they're planning around with the shy, only look kinda romance at this point to prolong drama. I would still recommend this because the two of the "couple" are really adorable, but I heard this was discontinued. It doesn't seem like we're missing much tbh.
So I agree this manga will mess with your feelings, and this has a beautiful plot. It's just, for some reason, Kotetsu is the kind of character I did not like or expect him to be. Sure his ideals and morals seem to be right, but his character may bug some people. A good read, but I was struggling to like the protag. while reading. I was fond of Ryoma Sakamoto (even with the events that happend) more than the main charac., and he was a side character. Anyways, would recommend this.
The idea is very interesting, and the art bothered me at first, but I got used to it. Now I really can't wait to read more. The only thing I didn't like was the obvious fanservice with the flash of the girls' underwear and "dates" and stuff. Still, a really good plot.
