I was a fan of the painter of the night, and now I feel sad for Kim dan. Nakyum, even tho he was forced by seungho he was carried after and washed also fed well and was given comfy clothes. No matter how self centered seungho was or how much he was using nakyum as a tool, he was still taking care of nakyum but for Kim Dan he was never treated like that even tho he was being used as a tool.
Kim Dan is doing his best to get away from Jk just to get a peace of mind. And I'm proud of him so much. I hope JK doesn't get what he wants in this season
So far this yaoi is not stereotypical. everything is well written and well drawn even the flow of conversations. Geeezz more stories like this would be best. The Mc and ML are geniuses in their own way. They have emotional intelligence that most yaoi characters dont have. The plot is not like any other yaoi as well as not cringey like other yaoi with the same cringey lines or plots like when the uke is being forced or sexually assaulted and then he sees a glimpse of semes expression and uke be thinking "why are you showing that expression womp womp" then sympathizes semi's wrong acts. Ive read it a lot in Mangas and some manhwas too.
But This one is well balanced for me the plot and the development of their relationship is just chef'skiss.. This is the best. Atleast according to my taste in yaoi.

I just wonder why can't yaoi authors create atleast 20 chapters for chasing arc. Like the uke is dismissing almost every efforts of seme. Most of the manhwas or mangas ive read is that the Chasing arc is most likely just 1 to 3 chapts then forgiveness arc for only 1 chapt then the redemption arc follows. I mean dearest author why is it so easy to draw the tortures for the uke but not for the seme?
