bruh samura is so dumb... chihiro literally destroyed that cloud sword, which means he can destroy the other swords. which means the swordsmen wont be swordsmen anymore ever again. boom no more problem but noooo instead samura is literally giving the swords to evil people who are gonna kill more civilians because of his own guilt, like yes make the situation worse

i thank the lord that they did not include a rape scene or any overtly disgusting sexual assault ♀ the scene was still horrible bc of what it implied but it wasn’t gratuitous for the sake of shock. other BLs should take a page out of this book and realize a chapter or two of the mc getting brutally violated is not needed…

based off chapter 8, im just throwing a guess out into the world that they are reincarnating soulmates or smth. like maybe mc doesn't remember imprinting bc he imprinted with his old esper, who is the ml now, and their soul energy or whatever continues into the new body
I could be totally wrong but that would be a cool twist

am i the only one disappointed that everyone knew her plan all along... idk she's set up to be this mastermind and then everyone knows. Makes her feel kind of lame. Like if the ml and real dad knew thats whatever, but everyone kind of ruins the fun and drama. It's lowkey rushed and maybe could've worked if everything isn't just flashbacks

I think that's kinda the point though especially with this last chapter, where both Aides and Wellmy herself point out that she's actually not as intelligent or skillful as her sister. Her plan also wasn't as clean as she describes it, because everyone manages to see little things that don't line up with her other actions (her coming in person to bring Iora food, sending off that noble girl to Iora instead of keeping her herself when she likely could've helped her influence grow, etc). We get shown this realization that in reality Wellmy's actions aren't quite as disguised or difficult to understand as she thinks it is. Wellmy is portrayed as an "unreliable narrator" because well, she's limited to her own ideas and view. To Wellmy she's doing this very discreetly but to others who look closely enough it's actually quite obvious.

Feel similar—it takes away from the tension and drama you feel when it’s like “well it would have worked out anyways even if she did nothing bc everyone knew about it and was doing stuff too”. Like I wanted a shock reveal from SOMEONE in the crowd, please dg like one gasp somewhere so she can be validated

that's chill and everything, but the way the story started at a climax and then decided to kill that momentum with flashbacks and contradictions makes it hard to engage with the material. The plot points are fine and could be well done, but the pacing is off for me, and there's no flow to it. Plus im not emotionally attached to any of these characters yet so the plot twist doesn't hit. ig that's why i was disappointed everyone lowkey knew; it felt like i read through her part for nothing

wait im a little confused.... does the mc not have the stigmata on this new body? im reading the mature version and i cant tell if he doesnt have it and i just didnt pick up on that or if the artist just forgot to draw it or maybe the hair is covering it?
and if the mc doesnt have the stigmata on his back, is it bc the ml didn't die yet in this new timeline?

i swear to god if this mc listens to that worthless piece of shit im gonna be soooo mad... like u were literally raped and held captive by this perverted asshat and u'r gonna listen to him?? like why would u ever walk into the arms of ur rapist. ur rapist will never have ur best interest in mind. And the fact that this sub-human freak thinks the mc looks his best when he was a lifeless slave?? disgusting
everyone is chill with vampires in romance, but now that we got cakeverse the cannibalism is a problem. domverse and omegaverse is chill but not cakeverse? wait until yall hear about pistilverse. we fr cannot eat our cake and have it. rip
W-what
What is pistilverse
Pistilverse (피스틸버스) is a trope in South Korean fandoms wherein almost all humans experience an "awakening" during puberty that assigns them into one of two botanically-inspired groups. These groups are denoted by marks on the person's body, and can determine whether and how they bear children, as well as some other traits that govern sex, relationships and biology.
Soooo...... is basically an omegaverse? I'm still confused--
I wanna know more about pistilverse. Sounds so interesting! Is there a manhwa for it somewhere? How come i never heard about it before...? Lol
It's not completely omegaverse since there are marks on their body that distinguish their traits. What kind of marks are they?? I wanna knowwwww ╥﹏╥
The marks from what I saw are flowers, and I didn't understand very well but it seems that they only appear after a stamen and a pistol sleep together, now for manhwas with this universe I haven't seen any, but if I find any I'll let you know
Alriiiight~ Thanks ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Just gonna chill here...to see if any recs with this new trope drop lol
Dunno if there will be any lol, from what I found, there were only novels with this universe on AO3
Bummer. Neat idea though. All of it has to be better than cakeverse.
