Ahhh I loved this so much....Its really realistic....I cried at the end when he smiled while saying “Happy Graduation”... although I really wish they didn’t part, it was a great touch to the story to see that they managed to both live independently.
I can say that the depiction of mental illness and depression in this story is really accurate. I’ve experienced almost everything Terrence thought and did. Hating himself, blaming himself, cutting himself, not caring about anything, and overall just purely feeling dull and empty. It’s a really awful feeling but seeing him get over all the hurdles with Jeff, just like I did (but the difference is that I didn’t have anyone but myself to rely on lol) made me feel so many different feelings. Definitely a recommend read!
